Real Estate Programs

House For Sale imagePurchasing a piece of property or a home is a major investment for most individuals. As such, individuals who represent the buyer and/or seller of real estate need to be thoroughly knowledgeable about the industry. A major responsibility of state regulators is to protect the consumer in these types of transactions. One primary way this is accomplished is through the education, training and licensing of real estate salespersons, brokers and appraisers. In many instances, jurisdictions contract with testing companies to provide the licensing examinations. AMP has provided testing services for real estate salespersons and brokers for 13 years, and currently serves 11 jurisdictions with our ARELLO certified program. As such, we have a unique understanding of state requirements for licensure testing, but also of the numerous and often intricate interactions between the testing vendor, Commission, candidate and public being served.

The specific implementation date in each state working with AMP for real estate licensing will be announced with the availability of a new Candidate Handbook. These new specifications are the direct result of a national real estate job analysis survey sent to over 12,000 real estate professionals; the detailed content outline can be accessed here. A summary of the job analysis study can be found here.
