AMP Recognizes AMP/MS Staff Achievements

AMP congratulates these staff members for their extraordinary accomplishments and for striving to expand their knowledge and experience within their professions.

Janene Dawson, Association Manager, has been conferred a Master in Business Administration from Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, KS. As an Association Manager in the Management Services division of AMP, Ms. Dawson offers a great depth of knowledge in working with allied health associations and offers proven experience in organizational management, publishing, finance, meeting planning, public relations, marketing and communications. Ms. Dawson also holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Ottawa University.

Melissa Whitaker, Meeting Manager, has earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation. To earn this highest standard of professionalism, Melissa was required to pass a written examination and meet requirements for professional experience in the meeting planning industry. Through the CMP program, she will continue to pursue industry exposure and continuing education opportunities. Her experience proves beneficial to the many AMP Management Services clients for which she plans annual conference, board and committee meetings. Ms. Whitaker holds a bachelor of arts degree in business from Cornerstone University and is also a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
