Many certification agencies and associations provide online examinations (practice or self-assessment) to their candidates to help them measure their professional knowledge, prepare for actual credentialing examinations or recertify their current credential. AMP can deliver web-based practice or self-assessment examinations to anyone with an appropriate Internet connection, allowing candidates to take an examination in the comfort of their own home according to their own schedule.
Web-based examinations are hosted on AMP's secure servers and available for purchase through AMP's online store. Ordering an examination is easy, with online credit card payment and e-mail confirmation provided within minutes. Candidates can take the examinations at the time of purchase or access it through a link 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Administration is also easy, using the same software as AMP's national Assessment Center Network.
Once a candidate takes a web-based examination, scoring is instantaneous and results are e-mailed to the individual. Score reports can include detailed feedback with comparisons to all who have taken the examination or a brief performance summary. Association/Board representatives will also have access to a dynamic bank of online reports.
