New Examination Specifications Available for Real Estate Educators
AMP recently completed a national job analysis of the real estate profession, which led to the development of new examination specifications for the national real estate salesperson and broker licensing examinations. Examination forms matching these specifications will be introduced in 2006 according to the following tentative schedule:
- February 1: IL, MO, MT, and NH
- March 1: AL, GA, NE, SD
- April 3: KY, MI, ND, WY
This schedule is subject to change, therefore, please monitor the web site for updated information. An updated Candidate Handbook will be made available a few weeks prior to the first administration of the new forms in each state. The Georgia Real Estate Commission has decided to begin using the simulation examination for broker licensing on March 1, 2006; further information about that transition will be provided at the GREC 2005 Annual School Meeting on December 2 in Athens, GA. Other states may choose to adopt the simulation examination for broker licensing at a time authorized by the state licensing authority.
